You are unique and for that reason, I do not use a one-size-fits-all clinical approach. Some modalities I might use in our time together may include Emotion-focused therapy (EFT), Internal family systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical-behavioural therapy (DBT), Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Individual Therapy

Loss of a loved one:

  • Parent, child, partner, sibling, friend

  • Miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss

  • Death of a pet

Non-death related losses:

  •  Infertility

  • Breakup, separation, divorce

  • Estrangement from family or friends

  • Chronic illness, accident, or diagnosis of a life-altering condition

  • Job or career loss, retirement

  • Life transitions

  • Major move

  • Grieving someone who is changed due to dementia, addiction, or mental illness

  • Loss of a dream, goal, or imagined future

Group Therapy

Grief can often feel isolating, especially when friends and loved ones don't know what to do or say. In our group sessions, participants may benefit from hearing others share similar feelings or experiences, which builds community and creates an environment where members feel understood.
